Dallaire, R., Dewailly, É., Ayotte, P., Forget-Dubois, N., Jacobson, S.W., Jacobson, J.L., & Muckle, G.

Description

In this prospective cohort study, the authors looked at the link between polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)  and lead and the fetal and postnatal growth of Inuit children from Nunavik. The study showed that exposure to PCBs in childhood had adverse effects on growth and weight, and that prenatal exposure to lead was associated with poor growth in childhood.
