In this prospective cohort study, the authors examined the relationship between polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and lead with the fetal and postnatal growth of Inuit children from Nunavik. The study found that exposure to PCBs during childhood was negatively related to growth and weight, while prenatal exposure to lead was associated with reduced growth during childhood.
