This qualitative study with members of the Métis community in British Columbia examines the complexity of the Métis relationship to land, identity and resilience in the context of colonialism. She highlights the impact of assimilation and intergenerational trauma on their identity and well-being, and how their connection to and responsibility for the land have contributed to their resilience.
