Description

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has developed standards for public health programs and services that aim to support better health outcomes for people living in Ontario through the delivery of health programs and services. that respond to the needs and contexts of local communities. This document establishes minimum standards related to: 1) population health assessment, 2) health equity, 3) effectiveness of public health practices, and 4) emergency management. It also establishes program-specific standards and accountability standards.
