2013

Cryderman, D.K.

Description

This thesis, produced in partnership with the Aamjiwnaang First Nation, aimed to better understand chemical contamination and exposures. The main components of the study were: a study of metal contamination of riverine ecosystems in the reserve around Chemical Valley and in a reference community; an assessment of mercury concentrations in sediments and soil at selected locations in the watercourse in the reserve and in the reference community; a review of human mercury exposures in mother-child pairs; a chemical exposure assessment of Aamjiwnaang mothers and children.
