2017

Hu, X.F., Laird, B.D., & Chan, H.M.

Description

The authors use modeling techniques to estimate the effects of Inuit diet and intake of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and methylmercury on the risk of myocardial infarction in Inuit of the Canadian Arctic. The findings indicate that APE and DHA intake reduces the adverse effect of methylmercury on the risk of myocardial infarction in this population.
