Description

In this article, the authors provide insight into Métis experiences during the pandemic and the role of matrilineal knowledge in intergenerational healing. They illustrate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on young urban Métis women and girls, reveal gaps in access to culturally safe health services, and provide examples of community innovation in response to COVID-19 led by these young Métis women and girls.
