This booklet discusses traditional and contemporary mothering for Indigenous women and the past and present contribution of colonization to the disruption of mothering practices and the introduction of FASD. It presents examples of community programs supporting Aboriginal women and children, including parenting support, midwifery services, and community wellness policies.
