Description

The authors present the findings of a research study that aimed to assess the effects of cultural competency training on the attitudes, perceptions, and professional skills of front-line clinicians and addiction treatment personnel for a Indigenous clientele.  Study findings reveal enhanced knowledge of Indigenous history and culture among frontline clinicians and staff. The authors conclude by providing suggestions for further enhancement of cultural competency
