2010

Kwaansa-Ansah, E.E., Bansu, N., & Nriagu, J.O.

Description

The authors present findings from a study measuring the extent of environmental and occupational exposure to mercury among miners and indigenous farmers living in a mining area in Ghana. The study showed a high internal dose of mercury in participants who were tested; however, the levels of exposure did not appear to pose a significant health risk.
