Cet examen systématique et méta-analyse d'essais cliniques randomisés vise à déterminer si la relation patient-clinicien a un effet bénéfique sur les résultats de santé. L'examen a identifié peu d'essais cliniques randomisés (ECR) qui répondaient aux critères d'éligibilité, mais parmi les quelques études identifiées, certaines suggèrent un effet faible, mais statistiquement significatif sur les résultats des soins de santé.
