The author describes a conceptual model developed to examine the vulnerability of Inuit food systems to food insecurity as a result of climate change, where food system vulnerability is determined by the exposure and sensitivity of the food system to climate-related risks and adaptive capacity to address those risks. This model is empirically applied using a case study from Igloolik.
