This article presents Inuit perceptions of risks and benefits of Inuit country food to counter the predominantly scientific discourse on contaminants in Arctic communities. The authors argue that environmental health risk communication strategies cannot be grounded solely in scientific discourses, but must include Inuit perspectives.
