This article aims to enhance understanding about the process for utilizing environmental health research evidence in the development of policies and programs in Canadian Indigenous communities. It explores the perceptions of environmental health researchers, senior external decision-makers, and decision-makers working within Indigenous communities about the factors that influence knowledge transfer and exchange, beliefs about research evidence and traditional knowledge, and preferred communication channels for disseminating and receiving evidence.
