Description

This report presents findings of a national survey, conducted between 2002-2003, on the health and well-being of First Nations adults, youth and children living in First Nations communities. Topics focused on children include household environment, language, culture and bi-cultural education; birthweight, maternal smoking and breastfeeding; physical activity, body mass index and nutrition; disability and chronic conditions; injuries; dental treatment needs and use of dental services; intergenerational impacts of residential school attendance; and emotional and social well-being.
