This article reports findings from an evaluation of student perspectives on innovative curriculum created at Anishnawbe Health Toronto to address gaps in postsecondary health sciences curricula. The curricula included three modules on the health of Indigenous Peoples: 1) impact of colonial and postcolonial policies on social determinants of health, 2) contemporary health determinants and health outcomes, and 3) Indigenous concepts of health and healing practices. The evaluation revealed that a significant number of students reported enhanced knowledge of and interest in Indigenous health compared to prior knowledge and interest.
