In this op-ed, the authors discuss the importance of a recent decision by the BC government to release COVID-19 case information to First Nations governments through negotiated information-sharing agreements for the advancement of reconciliation. The data sharing agreements enable First Nations to make evidence-informed decisions about how to keep community members safe.
