The authors examine trends in COVID-19 related labour market impacts over approximately a 1.5 year period for urban Indigenous people living in the provinces. Specifically, they examine employment and unemployment rates across various age groups (older, core-aged, youth) and by gender and employment sector, comparing these rates against pre-pandemic rates and rates for the non-Indigenous population.
