This presentation provides an overview of the challenges of managing tuberculosis outbreaks in the Sioux Lookout area. It aims to enhance awareness of how historical and cultural factors, colonialism, and inequitable access to health care influence TB management in the region. It also discusses the challenges of coordinating public health and clinical management of TB care for individuals diagnosed with active and latent forms of TB and describes how the compounding effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have impacted TB management in the region.
